About This Item
1.panox silk production:
The panox yarn is made of acrylic fibres pre-oxidised and then processed and braided with PTFE emulsion and lubricated.
2.Product Features:
It can be used as a base material for the production of carbon fibre, which is mainly used for the production of high temperature sealing packing, fireproof and anti-flame materials, heat-resistant textiles, and corrosion-resistant filter media.
3.Excellent stability:
Excellent thermal stability and chemical resistance very good electrical insulation properties.
4.Good thermal conductivity:
Excellent thermal conductivity, abrasion resistance and chemical stability, and relatively inexpensive among non-asbestos products. It is an ideal substitute for asbestos.
The function of Black Panox Felt:
Fire-retardant insulated clothing: Our oxidised PAN fibres are blended with other fibres for insulating linings in gloves and protective clothing worn by steelworkers and racing drivers.
Building and Aircraft Interiors: Aircraft seats and home furnishings in public buildings are made with PANOX fabrics to achieve flame retardancy. In the event of a fire, PANOX delays the burning or melting of interior foam and delays the release of toxic gases.
Industrial applications: Our oxidised textile fibres are used in a wide range of industrial plants and equipment, such as welding blankets, expansion joints, packaging, filters and gaskets.
Automotive components: PANOX is used as a thermal and acoustic insulating material for various components of automobiles. For example, nonwoven fabrics made from crimped PANOX staple fibres are used as engine isolation mats. Ground PANOX fibres can replace asbestos in friction linings.
Aircraft brake pads: PANOX is the main raw material for making carbon fibre reinforced carbon (C/C) aircraft brake pads. Brake pads made with PANOX can withstand temperatures in excess of 1000'C (1832 'F) generated by aircraft landings.
